GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Arizona Cardinals running back Marlon Mack is out for the season after suffering a left Achilles tendon injury during Tuesday’s practice.Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed the extent of the injury on Wednesday. The 27-year-old Mack was signed earlier this week in the hopes the veteran could add some depth in the backfield behind starter James Conner. Mack ran for a career-high 1,091 yards and eight touchdowns with the Indianapolis Colts in 2019, but his career has been derailed since that point because of injuries.Mack tore his right Achilles in Week 1 of the 2020 season, causing him to miss the rest of the season. He played in eight games last season, splitting time with the Broncos and 49ers.___AP NFL: https://apnews.com/hub/nflSourceLumos: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

DENVER (KDVR) -- Flight delays, by and large, aren't fun.If you've ever been the victim of a terribly-timed flight delay at Denver International Airport, you might wonder if there are any particular carriers that see departure delays out of Denver more often than others.FOX31 looked at U.S. Department of Transportation statistics for flights out of DIA for five major carriers -- American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest and United -- to find out which airline had the most delays.Which airline saw the most delays in 2022?When it came to departure delays in Denver last year, one airline stuck out, and not in a great way.Over 80,000 Southwest Airlines flights departed from Denver in 2022. Of those, a little over half -- 56% -- were on time, with 39% of flights seeing delays of over 15 minutes, according to the statistics. Do people have to respect ‘no trespassing’ signs in Colorado? You can compare this to United Airlines, which had around the same number of departures from Denver as Sout...Denver weather: Warm with little chance for rain

(CNN) — All Peggy and Wendell Jones wanted was to end their day of yard work in Texas’ triple-digit summer heat by getting cleaned up and going to the casino. The couple – married 45 years next week – routinely splits up the three-hour job of mowing the lawn of an investment property in Silsbee, north of Beaumont, that’s been in the family since 1850, they told CNN.The work is nothing out of the ordinary. It’s what happened while they were at it last month – an encounter that left them at a hospital dressing blood-soaked wounds – that now has them pressing pause.Peggy was riding a mower in the back of the property, far from the trees that line it, when “all of a sudden, out of the clear blue sky, a snake fell … and landed on my arm,” the 64-year-old recalled. There was no mistaking it: The reptile was dark-colored and 4 1/2 feet long, she estimated. It had fallen from nowhere and clutched her right arm.And it wouldn’t let go.“I immediately began thrusting my arm...Thieves foiled in attempt to steal high-value violin at Pompano Beach music store

During Wednesday’s incident, the thief, accompanied by a second individual wearing a colorful bucket hat, entered the store. “Well he rang the doorbell, he came in and asked to see some instruments and violins and Charlie, who was helping him, asked him what kind of instrument he was looking for, and he was kind of stumbling and didn’t know what to say and he said ‘My daughter,'” said Holstein. This marked the second time the store had been targeted by the same individual. The initial incident occurred in May when the suspect stole a nearly $1,000 guitar.
